The local retailer stocks more than 1,000 top-notch watches from brands such as Cartier, Chanel, and Baume & Mercier. I headed to the store’s Ridgedale location to get the scoop on the mega sale.
Cutting-edge styles and contemporary designs reign supreme within the store’s crystal clear cases. A few big designs for 2012? Sales associate Shawn Mckenny lists sport-dive watches and conservative styles on leather straps. Some bestselling brands include Breitling, Omega, and Cartier. And the glossy names have glossy savings to match: receive 20 percent off with cash payments, and 17 percent off with credit card payments.
For those wracking their brain for gift ideas for grads, a watch is a favorable alternative to college tumblers and Target gift-cards. Mckenny suggests an entry-level Tag Heuer. And for those who like to plan ahead, Omega is a go-to line for Father’s Day gifts.
The jeweler also offers repair services (Mckenny recommends dropping by every five years) to ensure the time-telling gadgets stay at arm’s length for years–a luxury to consider next time you reach for your cell phone.
