In a matter of seconds, rain has the tendency to frizz, crimp, and snarl the meticulously coiffed locks we dedicate countless minutes styling. The solution: some strategic and low-maintenance hairstyle choices. As I sought refuge from the rain in St. Paul on Thursday, one such hairdo caught my eye and prompted a quick detour into an adjacent Dunn Bros.
Antonia’s side-swept hairdo is a chic and weatherproof way to tackle rainy days. The Hamline Univeristy student fastened her blonde tresses into a loose braid, keeping flyaways in tact with a textured headband from the trend-forward Forever21. The fashionable and functional piece not only kept Antonia’s hair controlled, but it also injected a dose of bohemian ease into her look—an effect that undeniably put my baseball cap and tousled pony to shame.
