Last week was Parc Boutique‘s first Sip + Shop event of the summer season. Everything in the store from 3-6 p.m. was 15 percent off (including its sale section), and complimentary wine made the experience all the more enjoyable. The racks were colorfully stocked with trends of the moment and classic, go-to pieces, plus a bounty of accessories on display throughout the store.
Emily, the store’s manager, was more than happy to show off some of the latest trends Parc Boutique and its customers are loving. First up: floral. From bold to delicate, flower patterns are feminine and perfect for the late-spring/summer weather. And don’t be afraid to mix your prints the way Emily did with the stripe shirt/floral skirt combo.

Another trend to buy into this season is colored denim—especially in hot hues, such as coral and red. Warmer colors will pair well with anything, from bright colored shirts to neutrals that allow the pants to take the spotlight.
(Look 1: Jeans ($88), Blank NYC; Shirt ($42), Everly; Belt ($15), fringed; Necklace ($18), Twilight; Look 2: “Bloody Mary” Jeans ($88), Blank NYC; Shirt ($72), Mink Pink; Necklace ($18), fringed; Leopard Clutch ($79), AJP)
Check out these and other pieces at Parc Boutique, and be sure to stop by the Sip + Shop events with wine and 15 percent off every Friday this summer until August 31. Visit the store’s Facebook page (facebook.com/parcboutique) and follow owner Thao Nguyen on Twitter (@ParcBoutique) to see when she might partner with other nearby retailers such as The Beauty Lounge on specific days, too!
