A few weeks ago I spotted a woman, dressed in head to toe black, donning the most stunning necklace (above). The mix of beads and pearls with a vintage metal bow felt at once elegant and eclectic and so on trend.
The stylish woman was Susan Horowitz, a local jewelry designer who sells her wears at Whymsy and Krista Artista. Over coffee last week I got a look at a few more of her designs, which feature freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones like lapis and garnet, vintage beads, and clasps so lovely you’ll want to show them off. You’ll see more of Susan in our pages in coming months, but in the meantime, here is a peek at a few of my favorite designs.
