Of all the people I look up to, no one inspires me more than Anna Wintour. I've been reading Vogue since before I can remember, and her unique ability to promote the very best of everything is unsurpassed.
Last night, CBS's 60 Minutes aired an interview with the editor-in-chief, and although the thirteen-minute program was much less
juicy than Jerry Oppenheimer's unauthorized autobiography (Front Row) and less glossy and dramatic than Lauren Weisberger's book-turned-movie (The Devil Wears Prada), the interview did offer a rare look into the one of fashion’s most brilliant minds.
What about when she called Minnesotans "little houses"? Was that inspiring?
I do think whoever assigned Morley Safer the interview made the right call. I felt like she really respected him.

If Melissa Colgin belives that Ms. Wintour's views and opinions are worthy of inspiring the readers of MSP Magazine, why did they edit out the offensive remarks specifically directed towards Minnsotans? Perhaps Ms. Colgin doesnt mind biting the hands that feed her...or perhaps she thinks we should all go on a diet in order to be fashionably acceptable to both herself and Ms. Wintour, her inspiration.

First of all, it's "Colgan." And second of all, Melissa was just saying that she respected a hard working, independent woman who has become an icon in the fashion industry. Why are you reading a fashion/style blog anyway?

Something like 1 percent of women and .3 percent of men in America have anorexia. It is estimated that as much as 86 percent of Americans are overweight or obese. And AV is right, I was merely talking about my respect for Anna as a force in the fashion industry and as one of the most influential editors of all time. Also, I do not know how to use video editing software, I merely posted the two links available from 60 Minutes. That's all.
