Why: To celebrate MDT’s golden anniversary
Spotted: Several MDT alumni, including actress Lea Thompson. Sound familiar? She was the female lead in Back to the Future. She looked fab in a bright red cocktail dress.
Dress Code: Class all the way. Think flowing gowns, cocktail dresses, tailored jackets, and bow ties. And there were definitely some sparklers when it came to jewelry.
Memorable Moment: The performance of Carmina Burana. You’d think dancers performing amongst rows of vocalists would be awkward, but the staging was flawless. I got goose bumps during the dramatic finale.
