Herberger’s in Southdale Center opened in grand style on November 9. Numerous executives from Bon-Ton Stores, Inc., which owns Herberger’s, were on hand for the ribbon cutting, the Eden Prairie High School drum line performed, and hundreds of people stood in line to be one of the first shoppers in the brand new store.
