OMG you guys. Did you see what just opened at MOA?

If you happen to be riding down the escalator near the space formerly known as Bloomingdales, you’ll see a fresh new outpost of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Shut Up, I know.

This is no mere coffee shop, this is the inaugural Midwest location of the LA-based coffee shop empire that nearly out-bucks Starbucks. If you’ve spent time in LA, or watched enough TMZ and Entourage, you are very excited by this news. On nearly every street corner, in every mall in southern Cali (not to mention exotic locales such as Egypt, Mexico City, Cambodia, et al.) there lives a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf shop ready to help a caffeinated beverage find it’s way into the hands of a celebrity.

Though, here’s the deal . . . they actually have some really good coffee and a great selection of teas. The Ice Blended drinks are very tasty, and you wouldn’t doubt Miley, would you?

I’m not saying that they peddle some magic elixer which creates a sort of magnetic field in your body, making you unassailably attractive and worthy of global affection . . . but I’m not NOT saying that either.

If you’re mall-walking this weekend, maybe you should dress it up a bit with some big sunnies, a giant bag and go check it out. If someone is filming something at the mall, you can bet they’ll be there, and who knows what could happen.
