Best Burger: Victory 44.

Punch Pizza

Best Pizza: Punch.

Best Szechuan: Szechuan Spice.

Best Vietnamese: Que Nha.

Best Lunch (fast, cheap, and AWESOME): The food court at Hmong Village Marketplace in St. Paul.

Pho 79

Best Pho: Pho 79.

Best Tacos: (tie) Pineda and El Taco Riendo.

Best BBQ: I am going with Brasa. I know it’s nontraditional. I say it because our BBQ scene needs some rejiggering, and I know how unpopular it is to make a statement like that, but all the others are fine, but none are great.

Best Sandwich: Fish taco torta at Tilia (with a ginger beer).

Best New Restaurant: Butcher and the Boar.

Best New Thing in Town: The beer movement.

Sea Change

Best Restaurant That You Need to Eat in More Often: (tie) Sea Change and Meritage.

Best Dessert in Town: Vincent’s Three Creams.

Best Egg Dish: (tie) Egg biscuit sandwich at Sun Street Breads and Bar La Grassa’s egg and lobster crostini.

Best Cup of Coffee: Rustica.

Fuji Ya

Best Sushi: Fuji Ya in Minneapolis.

Best Pastry Shop: Salty Tart.

Where I Eat the Most: Piccolo. It’s easy and simple fare, I can sit for 10 minutes or two hours and eat a little or a lot, and the food is superb.

Where I Wish I Ate More: La Belle Vie. Best crew, best food, best service, best vision, and best bar. Enough said.

Best Deli: Wish there was one.

Best Korean: Same issue.

Best Thai: Bangkok Thai Deli in St. Paul.
