I was up reeeally early this morning and watching Kare 11 when a video caught my eye about a Chicago couple decorating their bedroom floor in pennies—60,000 pennies! Apparently the video is going viral today, but funny enough, no mention was given on TV to our own local penny floor—the first I’ve ever seen or heard about—at the Butcher & The Boar restaurant. We featured a spread on their decor in our October issue of Mpls. St. Paul Home and that place is such a smoky cool hot spot, both for food and design.
