Last week I was at International Market Square scouting out a few things for a photo shoot and while picking up fabric at Schumacher, I saw a large panel of this wallpaper. I’d seen the “New York New York” print maybe once before but only online and oh my, what a reminder about how different things look in a larger-scale setting. The cityscape is totally enchanting in a sophisticated, engaging, energizing, whimsical way that feels, well, very New York! I called up a dear friend who spent years in the Big Apple before returning back to the Minneapple and told her she must have it in her powder room STAT! Then I discovered they have another one for Paris!

Oh, and they have both city prints in fabric—can’t you just imagine a settee! It’s just so fun when design can pull at your nostalgia in a very polished manner. Now, if Schumacher could get on a version of San Francisco, Boston, Rome…
