Mark your calendars—this weekend the vintage pop-up shop Mighty Swell is having its end of summer sale. These gals are pros at collecting and always have a bunch of surprises in fashion and home accessories. Last time I went I happily soaked up my share of polka dots, jewelry, vintage dishes, and luggage. My big score was a $5 plastic red train case that I had been searching for everywhere. I was inspired by the whimsical Wild Rumpus bookstore in Linden Hills, where they scatter train cases in corners of the store and fill them with board books for toddlers to peruse.
