I would have written about Pacifier‘s new 50th & France store sooner, but I finally just coaxed my kid out of the reading nook. I’ve been a fan of Pacifier’s modern take on baby goods since the first store opened in Northeast, but in their newest location (store number three), benefits from the experience and expertise owners John and Wing Witthuhn have gained as retailers, and parents to a 3-year-old. Thus, the darling reading area with plenty of wooden toys to engage (just watch out that little ones don’t slip out the back door!), a clean, white bathroom, and penny bribes—er, candies—by the counter. The Witthuhns are adding clothes for bigger kids as fast as they can to keep up with demand. With an emphasis on clothes and gifts, there’s still plenty of small baby gear. The store is a nice blend of practical and fun at a range of price points. Don’t see something you want?
