Fall Fashion at Neimans

Photos by Becca Sabot

Dyed fur, digital prints, leather legs and menswear influences were among the key trends in a fall fashion show at Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis on Fashion’s Night Out. While the colors aren’t quite as wild as we wore this summer, there’s still plenty of vibrancy—especially in the way of color on color: wearing three shades of green together, adding a blue belt or a pink bag, just for a pop, and embracing some new neutrals, like navy and burgundy. Here are some of my favorite looks. View the entire gallery from the show, shot by the fabulous Becca Sabot, here.

Wearing the blues. Dyed fur and brocade leggings with the essential bootie.

It's easy wearing green this season. Dying for the gold tassel belt/necklace by Rachel Zoe.

Photography: it's not just for the walls anymore. Look for some amazing digital images—landscapes and more—on fashion pieces. And if that's not statement enough, mix in another patterned piece. Add a leather leg, and you're ready for the world.

We laugh, because it is much more fun than crying over how amazing the models look in leather leggings. That's me on the right, co-hosting with Neiman Marcus public relations manager Catherine Loose, who deserves props for producing the Fashion's Night Out show, supporting local designers, and raising the fashion bar in the Twin Cities.
