Inside an Apricot Lane store

Intent on its pledge to offer a unique mix of retail concepts, Shops at West End announced that Apricot Lane will open its first Twin Cities boutique this fall at the open-air St. Louis Park center.

Apricot Lane is a franchise concept with 90 stores open or under construction in the U.S., including one in Duluth. Local owner Kristine Haas says she picked West End for its style and feel. She hopes to open additional stores around the Twin Cities.

Apricot Lane describes its merchandise as  ”celebrity-inspired branded apparel, affordable fashion, jewelry, handbags, and accessories.”  Similar to Mainstream Boutique, where franchisees select items for their specific stores from a larger collection, no two Apricot Lane stores are exactly the same. Common brands include Joe’s Jeans, William Rast, Lucky Brand Jeans, and B.B. Dakota.
