Pottery Barn at the Galleria in Edina is about to get a total remodel that will feature a slightly larger floor plan and an enhanced Design Studio with more emphasis on interior design consultations and an expanded assortment of swatches.
According to Galleria officials, theirs is the first Pottery Barn in the country to get this upgrade. Reluctant to play favorites, Pottery Barn spokeswoman Kendra Stewart said only that select Pottery Barn stores are being remodeled throughout the year. “We are excited that all the remodeled stores will have the expanded Design Studio services with Design Consultation Desks.”
It’s good timing for Pottery Barn, which has looked a bit tired in less focused in recent years…especially as Restoration Hardware has upped its game and totally overhauled its look. Pottery Barn’s new emphasis on design services, including space planning, comes at a key time, with Arhaus opening this fall at the opposite end of the center.
Pottery Barn will move into a temporary space next to Louis Vuitton on June 16. The newly remodeled store will open in early October.
