What a difference red lips make! I’ve long been a plum/pink girl (could stock an entire makeup counter with my empty tubes of MAC Odyssey …if I didn’t recycle them for freebies, that is). But on a whim, I amped up in red, and I can’t believe the reaction. People notice red. That’s probably what has always made me shy away from it, but Clinique Angel Red is that perfect shade: not too glaringly bright; not too bloody dark. Clinique calls it a sheer, blackened red. I say it’s a truly flattering red, with just enough va-va-voom. Add a layer of gloss, and you’re really rarin’ to go.
