Fans of Corset Styling will be happy to know the boutique will be moving to a bigger, brighter space at 50^th & France in Edina. After four years in downtown Hopkins, the time came for the business to grow – in a location more easily accessible to customers. That’s the reason for the big move, according to Alicia Sauer, the store’s marketing manager.

Corset Styling will reopen its doors this fall in the whimsical space formerly occupied by Alix in Candyland. The best part about the new digs? The professional consultation area, says Sauer. The business is more styling than boutique and now the store itself will reflect that, with an entire section dedicated to one-on-one consultations. Think What Not to Wear-meets-Edina with comfy seating and styled mannequins (right now the stylists work with clients in one of the store’s larger dressing rooms).

As part of its big move, boutique stylists will offer three new packages for busy brides. Each one includes an online confidential style profile and 20 percent off all Corset purchases.

• Bridal Bliss ($350) – Includes a styling session to select three head-to-toe outfits for the bridal shower, bachelorette shower, and groom’s dinner. Either at the boutique or the bride-to-be’s home, “it ends up being kind of a fun dress-up party,” says Sauer.

• Heavenly Honeymoon ($450) – The lucky bride will get five head-to-toe outfits handpicked for her getaway – whether it’s on a tropical beach or at a ski resort in the mountains. This package even includes a trip to a local lingerie or swimwear boutique.

• Bachelorette Party ($550) – Celebrate in style. Grab your 10 closest friends and let Corset Styling take care of the rest. Because all that shopping can make any girl hungry, pick from four menu themes – fiesta, tea time, beer bash, and provençal – for refreshments.
