Joynoelle Boutique Now Online

Joy Teiken

By Megan Willett

The staff of Mpls.St.Paul Magazine has coveted Joy Teiken‘s ready-to-wear and bridal collections for years, but with the recent launch of her Joynoelle Boutique online, this local designer is about to hit the mainstream national market.

“Every bridal season, I have so many people from out of state calling me,” Teiken says. “I wanted to open my work up to people across the country and across the globe.”

Teiken thought back on various styles of dresses as well as the different types of clients she has had throughout the years. Popular cuts and price points ran through her head for months while she selected and stocked patterns, sizes, and fabrics for initial orders.

Customers can expect the same attention to detail and craftsmanship from Joynoelle Boutique as the original Joynoelle ready-to-wear collections. All of the dresses, belts, purses, and capelets are still handmade and hand-finished in Teiken’s studio, and each design remains true to the Joynoelle brand and vision.

What can we expect next from this Minneapolis-based designer? Teiken is launching a new line of dresses for boutiques across the country, and already has three stores (one local, two out-of-state) lined up to sell her designs. “I’m really busy,” laughs Teiken. With talent like hers, it’s no wonder.
