Listen up, Minnesota Twins fans— Target Field is teaming up with JB Hudson Jewelers to launch its contest Welcome Back to the Diamond! The winning lovebirds will receive a $20,000 wedding package that includes getting married at home plate, having their reception at Target Field, plus beautiful wedding jewelry all courtesy of JB Hudson Jewelers.

The idea for the contest sprung from the creative minds at Target Field, the Minnesota Twins, and JB Hudson Jewelers. “We were sitting around thinking how could we take our partnership to the next step,” says Jeannie Joas, president and chief executive officer of JB Hudson Jewelers. “This contest just seemed like the perfect fit!”

A long-time sponsor of the Twins’ Kiss Cam, JB Hudson Jewelers will be gifting $10,000 worth of wedding jewelry to the winning couple, while Target Field will hold a $10,000 home plate wedding ceremony and reception. The reception will be catered by Delaware North Sportservice, and is also worth up to a whopping $4,000. “It really is a dream wedding,” says Joas, “and the fun thing is it’s open to anybody!”

Newly-engaged sweethearts or those looking to renew their vows have until May 13 to register for this home run of a contest. Visit the JB Hudson Facebook page to complete the official entry form, including a written essay on why the prize package is beyond the wedding/commitment ceremony of your dreams. Then from May 13 until June 13, a panel of judges from JB Hudson, the Minnesota Twins, and Target Field will go through the contestants and choose five finalists that will be announced at the Twins home game on June 13.

And that’s when the fun begins! Public voting will span from June 13 to June 28 and fans can view the five finalist’s wedding ring selection, essays, reception menu, and Kiss Cam kisses to decide who they believe should win the ultimate wedding package.

After the voting is over, the victorious duo will be announced via Kiss Cam on June 29 and will have until September of 2013 for their big day to take place. The entire planning process will be documented on the JB Hudson Facebook page so fans can watch the winning wedding dream become a reality.
