Luxe Bridal Couture has added Laura Whitney Couture to its racks. Uptown’s resident plus-size bridal boutique is now the exclusive carrier of Whitney’s new line of bridal boleros designed with curvaceous brides-to-be in mind. Luxe owner, Shayna Clute, stumbled upon Whitney’s designs on Etsy.com, where the designer has gained a national clientele. After inquiring about a plus-size line, Clute says the two decided to partner. 

Clute feels Whitney’s designs fit seamlessly in her store, describing the line as “sleek, sophisticated, and whimsical.” Brides can choose from existing designs or customize their own. In addition to brides, mothers and bridesmaids can also purchase the cropped jackets in a number of colors for their own ensemble. A refreshing departure from big-name designers that tend to clutter bridal stores, the charming designs are certain to add a touch of Je ne sais quoi to a storybook day.
