We are putting the finishing touches on the January 2010 issue of Mpls.St.Paul Weddings magazine, and I really must say that I cannot wait for our local brides to get a look at it. I am constantly amazed how fantastic the Twin Cities bridal market is. From top-notch cake and floral designers to amazing fashions and a bevy of locations to suit any taste, we are truly fortunate.
Our fashion feature is my favorite one to date—filed with the very best couture dresses on the market. I want to keep the ones that appear in the story under wraps for a little bit longer, but here are some of my other favorites for the fall 2010 season.

I love that this Vera Wang dress manages to be both body conscious (trumpet silhouette) and ethereal (layers of tulle). And the sheer black sash is an unexpected and lovely twist.

From one of my favorite newcomers, Giles Montezin, a Carrie Bradshaw worthy ballgown.

If I were to be married tomorrow, I would pour myself into this stunning strapless trumpet gown by Junko Yoshioka . . .

Or maybe this more bohemian style by Temperley London.

Because you’re only a bride once, why not go big in a ball gown by Douglas Hannant . . .

Get blinged out in Ines di Santo . . .

Wrap yourself up in layers of Peter Langner‘s pink tulle . . .

Or go for Baroque in beaded Monique Lhuillier.
And if one dress just isn’t enough, grab one of these reception-perfect little white numbers from . . .

Angel Sanchez . . .

Reverie by Melissa Sweet . . .

Reem Acra . . .
