The Guthrie’s summer comedy When We are Married (July 4-August 30) has an interesting twist. To help celebrate this play about love and marriage, Mpls.St.Paul Magazine is hitching up with the Guthrie to give away a $60,000 wedding!

What's at stake? A wedding ceremony on Sunday, August 16, 2009, at 6 p.m. on the Guthrie’s legendary Wurtele Thrust Stage, officiated by Guthrie veteran and star of the movie Father of the Bride, Peter Michael Goetz; a reception in the Dowling studio, including food and drink for 150 guests; a wedding gown from L'atelier Couture Bridal (see my video with owner Amanda Kautt) and tuxedo rental from Saavi formalwear; wedding bands from Karin Jacobson Designs (see my video with the designer); not to mention an eight-day honeymoon, photography, videography, custom invitations, flowers by Bachman's, a wedding-night stay at aloft Hotel, and a wedding gift form the Guthrie.

So what o you need to do to win? Submit a three- to five-minute video explaining why you and your fiancée would like to be married at the Guthrie (for details on how to do this, scroll down to "how to enter" on this page).

Voting will take place on mspmag.com July 6-12, and the winners will be announced Monday, July 13th. Good luck!
