Ever since seeing one of her ready-to-wear collections in New York a few years ago, I’ve been a huge fan of designer
Lela Rose. But when she released her first bridal collection a little over a year ago, my respect for the designer only grew.
For
one, she offers silhouettes and fabrics that feel quietly luxurious,
not over-the-top. But although her collection is based on classic
tailoring and fine fabrics, she gives it a bridal touch with whimsical
embroideries, lace overlays, bespoke buttons, and intricate fabric
pleats.
Now in her third bridal collection, Rose's pairing of
unconventional fabrics with her trademark tailoring is increasingly
appealing as bides look for a gown that exudes an understated elegance.
Here are a few of my favorites for her collections.

Lee—that is, in fact, one of the dresses from the Guthrie's dream wedding giveaway. It is even more gorgeous in person!
