It doesn't hit stores until early next month, but a few images from the Jason Wu for Target collection have recently made their way onto the Internet, thus eliciting excited squeals from fashionistas everywhere.

03wu-zalopany-blog480.jpegThe affordable collection (everything is under $60) features blouses, bows, sporty knits, and feminine frocks, plus sturdy yet chic handbags. Jason Wu told Glamour magazine that we will see "silhouettes that are nipped at the waist to accentuate a woman's form" and that he was inspired by "French new-wave films" in creating "a sophisticated voice with an American sportswear spin."
